Current

The current events in the UK media are sad reading. The head of the security firm still taking his 57 million pound fee despite failing to fulfill his contract. What the Hell is this? Who earns that sort of money?

The reems of corruption scandals that appear to be unravelling put even Thailand to shame. What a terrible sad mess and a tragic demise of a society, hijacked by awful, awful people. And it would seem it's all interwoven with the politicians and corporate bosses that makes the whole thing stink. Is there anyone honest in this lot? Or is everyone prey to the powers of greed and corruption. It's just sad for the country and the honest labourer. The victims being the dad who stabbed to death his 3 kids before throwing himself off a cliff. Mysterious actions of a damaged society that no one can interpret - highly worrying as we venture into the unknown. Pressures on the mind that no one can predict the consequences or future actions.

Don't worry plenty of it going on in Thailand too. A father who while fired up on booze and yaabaa (acid) told his friend to kill his daughter, which the friend duly did. A daily occurance the horror stories here.

Meanwhile, Man continues his extraction of every resource on or in the planet to fuel his driving desire.

Up, up, up I am reminded of Peter and I placing ants in syringes and watching them crawl upwards as we squeezed from the bottom to see them brutally squashed.

Resource wars nearing every closer across the globe. China making desperate bids to secure energy. Syria in civil war as the president's wife orders luxury goods from Knightsbrige.

Takes a lot to stay steady in this day and age. Just don't look in the mirror. Don't be entranced by desire.

Listening to The Velvet Underground helps (except the first album).
