My millions of fans will be relieved to learn that, after a bit of groundwork, my hard drive is up and running again. It was the cable that was faulty. Thus the album collection and the photos of the pretty girls are all saved.
I have so many albums that took so long to find, it would be a disaster to lose them all, from Hefner to Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Morcheeba, Nick Drake and Led Zeppelin, The Smiths and Nanci Griffiths.
The babes can remain a closely guarded secret.
